Importing Stock Doctor into our Investing Analysis Checklist

When you’re a val­ue investor try­ing to invest in shares dur­ing times of great upheaval (like, say, a pan­dem­ic), you’ll want to be able to review lots of shares quick­ly for val­ue and qual­i­ty met­rics.

So I’ve been work­ing on a new ver­sion of our QAV invest­ing analy­sis check­list. The ver­sion that I’ve been using up until now is based on look­ing at one com­pa­ny at a time. This new ver­sion allows me to import hun­dreds of com­pa­nies from Stock Doc­tor and work out (rel­a­tive­ly quick­ly) which ones require more atten­tion.

This is some­thing Tony would nor­mal­ly do dur­ing report­ing sea­son (as per our get­ting start­ed guide), but at times like this, when we are wait­ing on all com­pa­nies issu­ing new post-cor­rec­tion guid­ance, we need to look at lots of com­pa­nies very quick­ly.
