Stock Analysis

We’ve haven’t had to do much buy­ing in the last week, but I did add VVA as a Light buy yes­ter­day, so you can read my analy­sis of it here.

BUY LIST

Each week we pro­duce a buy list based on our val­ue invest­ing sys­tem that we share with our QAV Club mem­bers. The intend­ed pri­ma­ry pur­pose of this buy list is for club mem­bers to use as a ref­er­ence for com­par­ing their own buy list. In the­o­ry, all of our buy lists should look pret­ty sim­i­lar each week.

As per recent weeks, I’m pro­vid­ing only ONE ver­sion of the AU list — it just has the buy list (live and sta­t­ic ver­sions) vis­i­ble, but the oth­er sheets are there, just hid­den, so unhide them if you want them.

Portfolios

The AU Dum­my Port­fo­lio was ‑1.11% in the last week vs the bench­mark +0.05%. We’re +15.37% pa for the FY (vs 13.06% pa for the bench­mark). Since incep­tion, we are +13.43% pa vs the bench­mark +8.87% pa.

Yes­ter­day I sold our par­cel of HLS and replaced it with PLT.

The U.S. port­fo­lio was ‑1.3% this week (vs 9.85% for the bench­mark) and is +25% for the Aus­tralian FY (vs +5.76% for the bench­mark). I haven’t trad­ed in the last cou­ple of weeks.
