STOCK ANALYSIS

I did an analy­sis of MLG for our Light mem­bers this week, which you can read here. Coin­ci­den­tal­ly, it’s also the com­pa­ny Tony did a pulled pork on in this week’s episode (see below).

BUY LIST

Each week we pro­duce a buy list based on our val­ue invest­ing sys­tem that we share with our QAV Club mem­bers. The intend­ed pri­ma­ry pur­pose of this buy list is for club mem­bers to use as a ref­er­ence for com­par­ing their own buy list. In the­o­ry, all of our buy lists should look pret­ty sim­i­lar each week.

One note: I’m still fid­dling with the new Cam­mala­tor code, so please do your own research before you buy any­thing (as you always should any­way). I do know that my code is remov­ing Josephines (eg PPM and ANZ this week, because it’s not scor­ing them as a “buy”), and it’s also using a more aggres­sive sys­tem to cal­cu­late “new 3PT upturn”, as it’s look­ing at dai­ly prices to deter­mine the last sell breach. This will dif­fer from look­ing at the Bret­ta­la­tor where you only see the EOM prices, so the “first buy line” might look dif­fer­ent, there­fore the “new 3PT upturn” scor­ing might dif­fer. I think my sys­tem is valid though, because if I was deter­min­ing the sell sta­tus of a stock today, it would be based on today’s price, not the EOM price.

Five Year Report: We are +19% pa vs the bench­mark +12.6% pa.

AMERICAN

Our U.S. port­fo­lio for the last 30 days was ‑6% vs +4% for the S&P500.

For the last 12 months, the port­fo­lio is +1% vs the S&P500 +17.5%.

No recent trades.

Since incep­tion (Sep 2023), our port­fo­lio is +63% vs the S&P500 +51%.
