Hap­py Mon­day, Light Brigade!

I hope you had a great week­end.

Chris­sy and I had a big kung fu grad­ing on Fri­day night, so we’re a lit­tle stiff and sore, but no noses were bro­ken, so I con­sid­er that a win.

And it’s HOT in Bris­bane. Going to be 37 today! Ugh.

PORTFOLIO UPDATE

In the last month, the Light Group of port­fo­lios were +4.46% vs the index which was +3.57%.

The most impres­sive returns for the month were from SRG (+45%).

ERD has recov­ered a bit since it’s huge drop on 17 Oct, but is still drag­ging us down a lit­tle. 

Since incep­tion, the Light port­fo­lios as a group are +21.5% p.a. vs the index +12.1%.

For the cur­rent cal­en­dar year, the Light port­fo­lios as a group are +35.5% p.a. vs the index +14%.

3. We don’t rec­om­mend that you add stocks which are already in our port­fo­lio. Their posi­tion on our buy list might have changed since we rec­om­mend­ed them. Just start with the stocks rec­om­mend­ed after you become a mem­ber.
4. If one of the stocks we add breach­es one of our sell con­di­tions, we will sell it from our port­fo­lio and you’ll get an email advis­ing of the trade. Again, you can copy our trades, but seek finan­cial advice before mak­ing any deci­sions. And please check your Rule #1 price (see Trad­ing Guide­lines).
